The Ethiopian Association in the region of Waterloo, is a non-profit community based organization established in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON. The association is committed to meeting the cultural, social, economic and psychological needs of the immigrant community in their effort to become self-sufficient and contributing members of society in their new country.

The association provides various educational and community services to refugees, immigrants and the general public in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Our clients include newcomers, unemployed and low-income individuals who need counseling and referrals in their effort to achieve economic self-sufficiency and social integration.

The association’s goals and objectives are determined by an active Board of Directors elected from within the Community in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Since its inception, the association has provided services to many clients and has been supported by local governments, foundations and individuals.
